Since we are located right in the middle of Porto and Lisboa, you can fly on both Airports.
From each airport it takes about 1,5 hour by car to get to our Accommodation and there are train connections and Flix Busses available to take you here by public transport
By Car
Our property is located about half way down the A1 highway connecting Lisbon to Porto. It takes about 90 minutes from both airports to get here. As some older navigation systems are missing roads near our house, we advise you to use Google maps for the last couple of minutes.
By Public Transport
It is possible to get to Pombal by train from both Lisbon and Porto. From the train station it is about 4 kilometer to our place Please keep in mind that trains in Portugal do not run very frequent and the public transport outside the major cities is very limited. We advise you to rent a car, either at the airport or in Pombal.
Off course you can! In front of our property is a little parking area and the area in front of our barn also has space for some cars. Parking is free and usually safe as it is a quite rural area.
We are also (part-time) remote workers, so high-speed internet is a necessity for us too. There is a fibre optic connection at our house and we use a mesh system to guarantee stable Wi-Fi connections in most of the area's on our property.
We love animals and there are quite a few on our terrain. To keep all animals healthy and safe, we only accept animals we feel that would fit. If you want to bring your animal(s), please contact us upfront.
